Yes. The probe talks to the base over MEAT MATE Link, which holds through thick grill lids, walls and oven doors, even with the meat wrapped in foil. The battery lasts up to 24 hours, and the base shows the temperature on its own screen and sounds an alarm when the meat is done, so you are covered even if your internet drops.
No. Download the app, connect the base to your WiFi once, and the probe is ready whenever you take it out of the base.
No. The app works without one. An account only saves your past cooks.
Yes. Set any target you like in the app, or pick a preset. There are presets for almost every cut, with a target for each level of doneness.
ONE comes with one probe and TWO with two. With TWO you can cook two things at once, each with its own target, and each probe costs less.
Unlimited. The probe talks to the charging base over MEAT MATE Link, which holds through walls and oven doors. The base joins your WiFi and sends the cook to MEAT MATE Cloud, so you can follow it in the app from anywhere with internet. No WiFi? The base connects straight to your phone over Bluetooth instead, within about 10 metres.
For short periods, yes. Keep the probe out of the flames themselves, and the app warns you if the heat around it gets too high.
